Associate Production Employee- Battle Creek, MI

Starting Wage: $16.per Hour

• Operate and monitor production equipment in a GMP environment in a manner that supports all personal safety and food safety practices.
• Record production data required for performing quality checks, measuring waste, evaluating downtime or production efficiency, or other pertinent data as required.
• Complete job duties in an efficient manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality and environmental practices.
• Maintain clean work area and perform sanitation tasks for cleaning production equipment by following GMP and food safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:The qualified, successful candidate will possess the following:

Education: Requires a High School diploma or GED.

Experience: Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Availability: Must be willing and able to work any shift including overtime and be available 7 days/week.

Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in team-based environment. Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work scheduled shifts, standing, kneeling, climbing and walking for extended periods of time; capable of repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling with weight ranges up to 50 pounds; ability to perform repeated twisting, bending and reaching; exposure to hot and/or humid environments, working on ladders and confined spaces.
